Shawn T. Kemp is an American former professional basketball player, who played in the National Basketball Association for 14 seasons. He was a six-time NBA All-Star and a three-time All-NBA Second Team member.

As of 1998, Kemp had fathered at least seven children. This number is alleged to be even higher, resulting in Kemp being an easy target for commentators' jokes.

His oldest son, Shawn Kemp Jr., committed to play basketball for Auburn University on November 11, 2009. Shawn Jr, a graduate of Cherokee High School in Canton, Georgia is a 6'9" 220 pound Center. He was named as an alternate in the 2009 McDonald's High School All-American Classic. Shawn Jr was heavily recruited by University of Kentucky, University of Florida, Alabama, Indiana, and Arkansas. Kemp Jr., did not qualify academically and will not play for Auburn in the 2010 season.

He appeared on the 2009 season premiere of Pros vs. Joes.

Google on January 19 2011 Celebrating Cézanne's 172nd birthday Google tweeted this morning that the logo you see on the home page was first created as a real oil painting by a Googler and then digitized. Google posted the following picture to show off the real painting. Paul Cézanne was a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter whose work laid the foundations of the transition from the 19th century conception of artistic endeavor to a new and radically different world of art in the 20th century. Cézanne can be said to form the bridge between late 19th century Impressionism and the early 20th century's new line of artistic enquiry, Cubism. The line attributed to both Matisse and Picasso that Cézanne "is the father of us all" cannot be easily dismissed.
